First met
Jan 29, 2018 ... or August 2001After probably first crossing paths 17 years before in the Goin’ Band from Raiderland their first semester of undergrad, Trey and Stacy matched online and started talking.
First date
March 8, 2018Stacy and Trey finally meet face to face for an after-work drink at The Funky Door…and end up staying for nearly three hours. Trey left the next day to New York for a work trip and asked Stacy to go with him to his friends’ St. Patrick’s Day party when he returned. What he didn’t tell Stacy until much, much later was his friends, David and Kate Biel, organized the party and came back early from an unanticipated trip for this purpose.
Proposal
Jun 14, 2019Stacy was speaking at a work conference in Anaheim and asked Trey to come along so they could vacation afterward. After the last morning of the conference, they went to Disneyland and arrived during the daily afternoon parade. Trey suggested hitting the rides while crowds were at the parade. The Tiki Room was the closest. Why not go there first? Afterwards, Trey suggested going to the Jungle Cruise since it was next door. But instead of going to the main entrance, Trey steered them to a guest services podium, and they were promptly loaded onto a boat by themselves. Trey popped the question behind the waterfall, and Skipper Sara took pictures. It turned out that morning while Stacy was at the conference, Trey went to Disney’s guest relations office and orchestrated the afternoon, down to the time they would arrive at the Jungle Cruise!

The ceremony - Chapelle Du Paradis

The chapel is on the second floor of Paris Las Vegas. Take the main elevator, and the chapel area is located immediately off the elevator across from the spa. The ceremony promptly begins at 11 a.m., so please arrive between 10:30 and 11 a.m.
